03-08-2026 🎙️Sermon Title: Your Crowns

INTRODUCTION

I want to address an international issue with Iran. God is in control. Are we living the end times?

Matthew 24:35 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

The Day and Hour Unknown  Matthew 24:36

36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[f] but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

Most people live for:

• titles
• money
• applause
• recognition

But believers are called to live for something eternal.

The Bible teaches that one day, faithful followers of Christ will receive crowns — not for status… but for worship.

These are rewards — and ultimately, they’re meant to be laid at Jesus’ feet (Revelation 4:10-11).

10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:

11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they were created
   and have their being.”

PLEASE REMEMBER THIS (Ephesians 2:8-9)

8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

Living in America

The average American lives better than roughly 80–90% of the world’s population.

The BIGGEST and most important Rewards Ceremony will be given in heaven.

HEAVEN’S TROPHIES

Rewards are talked about through the bible.

Psalm 58:1, Psalm 52:12, Matthew 5-11-12, Revelation 22:12

AFTER YOU ARE SAVED WHY ARE YOU WHERE? We can talk judgement seat of Christ for believe, but that is for Bible Study. Today’s message is what you will receive for faithful living and your works while you are here.

Here are the Five Crowns mentioned in Scripture 👇

đź‘‘ 1. The Imperishable Crown

For Self-Discipline & Spiritual Endurance

đź“– 1 Corinthians 9:25

“Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training… they do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.”

This crown is for believers

YOUR FAITHFULLNESS OVER THE YEARS OR THE TIME YOU HAVE BEEN A BELEIVER

Crowns are not about salvation — they are about faithfulness, service, endurance, and love for Christ.

đź‘‘ 2. The Crown of Rejoicing (Soul Winner’s Crown)

For leading others to Christ

đź“– 1 Thessalonians 2:19  For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes? Is it not you? 20 Indeed, you are our glory and joy.

đź“– Philippians 4:1

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, dear friends!

Given to those who share the Gospel and help bring people to salvation. (SOUL WINNERS)

PLANT THE SEED.. YOU WONT KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE YOU HAVE TOUCHED

➡️ This connects strongly tied to your passion for discipleship and outreach — “How will they hear without a preacher?”

đź‘‘ 3. The Crown of Righteousness

For longing for Christ’s return

đź“– 2 Timothy 4:8  For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come

Given to those who live in expectation of Jesus’ coming and remain faithful until the end.

➡️ A forward-looking faith.

đź‘‘ 4. The Crown of Life

For enduring trials & persecution

đź“– James 1:12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

đź“– Revelation 2:10 Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown.

Given to those who remain steadfast through suffering, hardship, or testing.

➡️ Faith that survives pressure.

đź‘‘ 5. The Crown of Glory

For faithful spiritual leadership

đź“– 1 Peter 5:2–4  2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.

Given to pastors, shepherds, and leaders who care for God’s people well.

➡️ Shepherds who serve willingly and faithfully.

When I read this I think about Pastor Spaulding, My mentor Pastor L.E. Godwin and many other men who have saved as pastors for their entire lives.

✨ The Purpose of the Crowns

Ultimately, we don’t keep them.

đź“– Revelation 4:10 — The elders cast their crowns before the throne.

The crowns become acts of worship —
evidence of lives lived for Christ.

FINAL LINE

Don’t just live to succeed.

👉 Live to hear:

“Well done… and receive your crown.”

Matthew 25: 21

Well done, good and faithful servant!

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your Word and the promises You give to those who follow You. Help us to live faithfully, endure trials, share the Gospel, and love Your appearing so that our lives will honor You.

Lord, remind us that any crown we receive is not for our glory but for Yours. May we live each day in such a way that when we stand before You, we will gladly lay our crowns at the feet of Jesus.

Help us to hear those wonderful words one day: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

In Jesus’ name we pray,
Amen.
